What's the story of the Brewtown Showdown?

Tenth Annual Brewtown Showdown

This is a multi-level tournament that provides separate divisional play for 4-6th grade boys, 7-8th grade boys, high school boys, and girls, and adult men's college and post-college club teams. The games will start on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM and run all day until 5:00 PM on the eight fields at Uihlein Soccer Complex. Each team will play three games—two Saturday and one on Sunday.

There will be concessions, custom tournament t-shirts, stickers, hats and a silent auction items available at the field. Tournament t-shirts will be available through Northwest designs at the field. Players and fans can customize or personalize their shirt and choose from different designs.

Game Format

The games will start on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM and run all day until 6:00 PM on ten fields at Uihlein Soccer Complex.

  • Games will consist of two twenty minute running halves for youth and twenty-five minute halves for high school and adult.
  • last two minutes are stop time
  • five minutes at half time,
  • one two-minute timeout each game per team
  • penalties start on the restart whistle when the player is in the box.
  • Masters Division game at 3:30 PM
  • Each team will play a minimum of five games - three Saturday and two on Sunday.

This weekend coincides with the world-famous Summerfest Music Festival at Milwaukee's lakefront.
